How has the completion of your course supported you in your career?
Studying at Writtle University College provided me with a foundation for my career to grow and develop. The University College gave me plenty of opportunities to gain first-hand experience of PE teaching and insight into the profession whilst completing my studies. After graduation, I completed the Schools Direct Teachers' Training in 2016 and then went onto complete my QTS in July 2017 to become a full-time PE teacher.

Why did you choose to study at Writtle University College?
The facilities and knowledgeable lectures - I felt very confident that they were going to deliver an excellent course. I commuted to the University College so its accessibility was a key factor – it's easy to get to via many routes and provided lots of parking.

What does Writtle University College mean to you?
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Writtle. It was very welcoming and the facilities provided an excellent base for the numerous sports courses. The pleasant surroundings make the University College a very calm and relaxing environment to study in.

What did you particularly enjoy about your course?
I really enjoyed the blend between the theoretical content and the practical modules. The weight of exams and coursework was very well planned and catered for all learning abilities/styles. The lecturers who delivered the course were also very knowledgeable and provided interactive lessons, ensuring all students were engaged.
