Why did you choose to study at Writtle University College?
I chose to study at Writtle College because I felt the College environment and settings were perfect for the course I was doing. You could walk out of a lecture into the gardens surrounding the buildings and learn even more about the subject. The intimacy of the College was also great. Everyone knew everyone and it became more of a community rather than a year group.
What does Writtle University College mean to you?
It was all hard work but I had the best time of my life and met some of the most amazing people from all over the world. It brought out the best of me.
What did you particularly enjoy about your course?
The design modules were very good and we were able to experiment and think rather conceptually. At the same time, there were modules that were very practical and have helped me prepare for working industry.
My Current Job
I am currently a Graduate Landscape Architect based at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for The Landscape Group.
Studying Landscape Architecture at Writtle College gave me great experience in horticulture, design and project management which are all crucial for the job role I’m in.
I hope to go on to study my masters in Landscape Architecture part-time and then go on to do my Chartership. At the same time, I would like to further my experience and knowledge of the landscape management industry and work my way up the career ladder.
