Racing Foundation Scholarship

Available for students wishing to study the one-year Certificate of Higher Education in Thoroughbred Stud Operations.

These awards comprise a full-fee scholarship (£9,250) for one students commencing their programme in 2021, subject to review.

Priority will be given to:
• anyone already working in the Thoroughbred racing or breeding industries looking for a career change or a higher level of training.
• anyone expressing a strong interest in working in the breeding industry on completion of the course, especially at a UK-based stud.

Applicants to the course are invited to submit a written application for the Racing Foundation Scholarship to caroline.flanagan@writtle.ac.uk. The Racing Foundation will be selecting recipients based on their letters of application and the academic and practical background of the individual, in conjunction with WUC.
