David Colegrave Foundation

Students of horticulture who are studying at colleges & universities across the UK can apply for a scholarship of up to £1,000 to support them with their studies. This award is granted to five students annually.

Application Criteria:
There are no specific criteria for application, though most students will be enrolled or about to be enrolled on a full-time horticultural course at a horticultural college or university. Preference will, however, be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Focus of studies on ornamental commercial horticulture, especially with an emphasis on the bedding, container, pot plant and cut flower sectors.
• Are seeking to make careers in the field of commercial ornamental horticulture.
• Show demonstrable talent, as evidenced by grades achieved and by tutors' assessments.
