Biography

Prior to becoming an academic I worked as Team Leader on a Local Authority run Exercise Referral Programme which included community Cardiac and Pulmonary Exercise Rehabilitation. During this time I also worked as a tutor for a number of exercise training providers delivering Level 3 and Level 4 subjects covering exercise and chronic ill health.

I have recently joined Writtle University College from UEL where I spent eight years teaching on the post graduate and undergraduate Sport and Exercise Science programmes.

I am hold various governing body accreditation such as BASES, SENr and TPi (Golf).

I am working with professional and amateur athletes/teams at International, National and Regional levels; providing Sports Nutrition/Physiology support and skills-based workshops for individuals, team/clubs/schools and parents, as well as to Talented Athlete Development programmes.
