Biography

I have been riding for over 25 years and working in the equine industry in various jobs for the last 13 years. I have been running my therapy business since early 2011 which I continue to do alongside my lecturing work.

I qualified as a McTimoney practitioner in 2013 for which you are required to complete a 3 year MSc level course covering anatomy, pathology, neurology, gait, clinical evaluation, practice and professionalism as well as learning the McTimoney technique itself including palpation and adjustment skills for the skeletal system. I was also required to write an MSc level dissertation for which I researched rider handedness in relation to pelvic misalignment in the horse.

Prior to the McTimoney course I had already completed the Equinology Equine Body Workers Course in 2010 followed by Myofascial Release in 2011 both with Equinenergy Ltd.
