My present role is split between managing the Sport, Health and Wellbeing Department as well as playing a role in the Access and Participation work.
I am a keen sportsman who has always been interested in sport and the performance of the athlete at both elite and amateur level.I have competed in athletics and triathlon and enjoy taking part in all aspects including fell running, off-road trail racing and cycling time trials. I work hard to enhance the student experience at Writtle, and hope that the graduating student will not only leave with a first-class degree, but also with a sense of pride at their achievements.

I am currently involved in experiments using the technique of near infrared spectroscopy in a performance setting and have also been involved in pacing strategy research.
