Art and Design students at Further Education level have once again achieved excellent success rates and high achievement across all programmes, with both of the Level 3 courses on offer achieving 100% pass rate with a high percentage of high grades compared to the national average.

In a celebration of Further Education achievement across the College, an annual Presentation Day was hosted at Writtle. This year, presenting the awards was Chris Moody OBE, Chief Executive of Landex.

Chris was invited to speak at the presentation day and gave many words of advice and encourage to completing students saying: “It’s always tremendously good to be able to enjoy other people’s celebrations.

“It’s in our industries where the career opportunities are enormous and you are all fortunate to have been taught and to have developed a huge amount of transferable skills during your training at Writtle. You are all in a good position to be able to look for opportunities outside of your specialisms and to adapt and thrive.

If you take the opportunities offered I am sure that many of you will go on to great things in your careers.”

The portfolio of courses in Art and Design include Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design, Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design and Levels 1, 2 & 3 Interior Design. To find out more, please visit: www.writtle.ac.uk/Design
