‘Contemporary, Innovative ideas in Management of Change’ is the title for the forthcoming CPD (Continuing Professional Development) refresher event taking place at Writtle College for all practising and aspiring managers.
The event aims to offer attendees the opportunity to receive a set of practical tools in the Change Management arena offering them advice and ideas for career progression. The event includes a group of inspiring speakers and an interactive workshop for hands on experience. The speakers attending are:
Dr. Maria Kapsali - Imperial College Business School, London
Topic: Innovation in healthcare (service sector) processes
Dr. David J Hall - Chief Executive Officer, HFL Sport Science
Topic: Creativity and blockages to “thinking differently”
Mr. Martin Mason - Director, TaBISCo Ltd, Business Engineering Consultancy
Topic: “From Important To Impotent: Undermined, Overwhelmed & Sidelined - The End of Authority".
An Interactive Workshop will also be held by Dr.Thomas Jeyendran, from the Management Education Centre at Writtle College, which will be the Creative 'mind building' workshop for innovative solutions.
Dr. Jeyendran commented about the forthcoming event: “In the current economic climate, a manager’s ability to apply contemporary innovative ideas is not only critical for success but also for the survival of an organisation. Hence, this is an ideal opportunity to re-evaluate your own stance in change management with the twist on contemporary innovative ideas.”
Tickets for current Writtle College and University of Essex students will be £35, other tickets will be £50. Included within the price will be refreshments and a buffet lunch.
