Grappling success for College Sports Student

Simon Best, Sports and Exercise Performance degree student from Writtle College has recently been selected as one of 10 submission grappling students for the British team.

Simon went for trials in February for the WOMAA World Games British grappling squad and it has recently been announced that he has been selected for the British World Games squad.

The World Games will be held over the weekend of 19 August 2011 and take place in Cardiff.

Grappling is a general term that covers techniques used in martial arts that are practiced both as combat sports and for self defense.
