We are thrilled to confirm that we have been successful in securing a significant financial grant from the Office for Students (OfS).

The University College has been awarded £5.8m, the maximum amount available, to support the refurbishment of our educational facilities on the Lordship campus. The OfS will being announcing our award publicly, alongside those of other higher education providers, today.

Work will commence in early 2023 to enhance and expand the science laboratories and learning facilities for our animal related programmes. This will in turn enable greater investment in other areas of the campus as part of our long-term estates master plan.

There will be a relatively short delivery programme for these works, in line with the agreed OfS criteria for grant applications, and we will be working with relevant academic and professional service teams early in the new year to progress plans on this exciting development.

Securing this bid will act as a catalyst in the improvement of the quality and presentation of our facilities, enhancing the student experience for both current and new students, and will bring an exciting start to 2023!
