Sally Channon, Technologist at Thanet Earth, was welcomed to Writtle University College in May 2022. She was invited by Senior Lecturer in Crop Production, Dr Kami (Kambiz) Baghalian, to tour the University College's facilities and deliver a guest lecturer to BSc and MSc students.
Sally has over seven years' experience in working at Thanet Earth. The company's impressive glasshouse complex uses cutting-edge technology to produce around 400 million tomatoes, 30 million cucumbers and 24 million peppers each year.
