Writtle University College's floristry students have been carrying out an impressive number of fundraising and charity events. Throughout the last few months, they've supported the local community and a wide range of organisations.
L2 floristry students donated gifts to Women in Refuge, Kids Inspire and Supporting the Elderly Community in the run up to the winter holidays.
L3 floristry students raised £94 for the Hedgehog Protection Society by making and selling moss hedgehogs.
L3 Floristry students gave up their weekly flowers and handed them out to students and staff during Antibullying Week. They all wrote a kind word to a tag and attached the labels to their gifts.
L3 & L4 floristry students entered the Writtle Christmas Tree Festival with their creative designs which were then displayed in the University College's foyer in the lead-up to Christmas.
L3 Floristry students supported The Salvation Army Toy Appeal for underprivileged local children between the ages of 2-15 years old and raised £80 by selling floral designs made by the floristry staff and students in the Turner Building Foyer.
