Four Writtle University College students joined Chelmsford's Remembrance Sunday Service on 14th November. The service took place at the War Memorial on Duke Street.

The Mayor of Chelmsford joined veterans and members of the public to pay respect to all those who continue to serve our country's Armed Forces, as well as those who gave their lives during previous wars.

Joe Harris, Dianna Danaila, Corran Parsons and Rebecca Brook represented the Students' Union and laid a wreath in behalf of the University College's community.

Joe said: "Remembering those who gave their lives in the line of duty is important. Throughout the years there will have been many students and staff who have lost friends or family members or who themselves gave their lives to protect our country. I am honoured to have been able to arrange through the Students' Union the opportunity to lay a wreath on behalf of the Students' Union and the University College."
