Professor Peter Hobson was invited to speak at 'Climate Sunday' in Woodbridge on 19th September 2021. His well-attended talk covered the dangers of climate change and the need to develop sustainable practices.
Peter Hobson is the Professor in Biodiversity Conservation & Sustainability within Writtle University College's School of Sustainable Environments.
He said: "I was pleased to see that so many people - including former Writtle University College students - attended Sunday's talks. Climate change is a vital issue and we must work towards a more sustainable future. I look forward to talking on the same topic in Billericay in October."
Professor Hobson is a member of the Essex Climate Action Commission and is in the process of co-organising Woodbridge Climate Summit 2022. He is working with the town council to produce a climate emergency plan for the area and will also be providing assistance for Saxmundham Town Council.
