The creative professionals of the future will be exhibiting the best of their work at the Writtle University College Design Degree Show.

The exhibition will feature work from students of Art & Design, Landscape Architecture & Garden Design and Professional Floristry, including those studying degrees, Masters and PhDs.

The annual event is the chance for members of the public and potential employers to see the inspiring talent emerging from Writtle University College. It is also an opportunity for students’ friends and families to celebrate their creative achievements at the conclusion of their studies.

The Design Degree Show marks the culmination of students’ research, professional skills development and creative enquiry over the length of their course and is hotly-anticipated as the pinnacle of their studies to date.

Unique for this year, the Landscape Architecture and Garden Design students will be exhibiting designs that respond to the work of 18th Century garden designer Humphry Repton, which are being featured in a national exhibition with RHS Libraries.

The students have learnt about Repton’s gardening principles and his unique method of presenting to clients with ‘before’ and ‘after’ visualisations. They have freshly interpreted his presentation ideas using a range of media. Visitors to the Design Degree Show will be able to see the students’ full work, elements of which are included in the exhibition, Rethinking Repton – Looking to the Past to Design for the Future, at RHS Lindley Library, London, until 2 June 2018.
