Charity family run to be held at Writtle University College

Writtle University College will be a hosting a 3 kilometre family fun obstacle run on campus in order to raise funds for Farleigh Hospice.

Held on Sunday 20 November at 10am on the scenic grounds of Writtle’s 220 hectare campus, this event is open to all and families are encouraged to sign up, have fun and help to raise money for a worthwhile cause.

The 3 kilometre run, in conjunction with Essex Bootcamp, will consist of army crawls, hay bale hurdles, tyre runs and much more!

Sports Development Officer, Amy Grimsey, said: “It is fantastic for Writtle to be hosting such a great event on campus. Writtle University College has a growing reputation within sport and this a way for us to give something back, whilst allowing families to have fun and keep fit at the same time!

“Bookings have been coming in thick and fast, so we encourage anyone who is considering signing up to do so as soon as possible.”

Each entry requires a minimum donation of £2 that will be collected on the day.
