The MA Landscape Architecture and Garden Design Programme at Writtle College is proud to announce its latest student essay collection.
The book, “Interfaces in Landscape through Time, Space and People”, was edited by Dr Saruhan Mosler and Dr Jill Raggett and designed by Jelena Mone.
This compendium includes a selection of eight essays written in 2011-12 by MA Landscape Architecture, Garden Design and Historic Designed Landscape students for the postgraduate module “Special Topics” led by Saruhan.
Papers were produced through group discussions, individual tutorials and presentations in a seminar form by the students in the dedicated MA Landscape Architecture / Garden Design studio.
Saruhan, Course Manager for the MA Landscape Architecture/Garden Design, said: “Each essay presents an issue in contemporary landscape architecture and garden design. The book aims to stimulate the current debates in the field by encouraging greater experimentation and by demonstrating the promising new directions and ideas of graduate students.”
