Becca White, a third year Equine student at Writtle College, was recently selected to be part of the first ever contingent sent to the International Young Breeders Competition, in Lyon, organised by the Worlds Breeding Federation for Sport Horses.

Britain sent three teams representing AES, BHHS and WBBUK.

Amy Mills, Equine Lecturer at Writtle College and BEF Futurity Evaluator, commented: “The team Becca was part of did exceptionally well coming 9th overall and beating some of the big German Studbooks was a huge achievement. Becca is a conscientious student, and will be given an award at the graduation ceremony for best performing student on stud modules.”
