On March 10th, Senior Lecturer in Crop Production Dr Kami Baghalian welcomed Dr Jamie Claxton, Director of Research and Development at Tozer Seeds, to Writtle University College.
Dr Claxton visited the University College's crop production facilities and took part in a discussion on the launch of a KNTP project focusing on breeding varieties suitable for vertical farming/LED lighting technology. He also delivered a highly popular lecture to BSc and MSc students.
Dr Baghalian said: "I was delighted to welcome Jamie Claxton to our facilities. Here at Writtle University College we are committed to offering our students opportunities to learn not just crop production but other equally important aspects of the sector, such as genetics and breeding."
