Stihl delivers machinery to Writtle University College

On Tuesday 13th September Stihl delivered more than £4,000 of equipment to Writtle University College in Essex. The items, which included chainsaws, strimmer and mowers and have been generously loaned to the University College's Short Course Department.

The manufacturer has been producing handheld power equipment, including trimmers, chainsaws and blowers since 1926. The machinery delivered to the University College will be used to train a new generation of students in land-based machinery, mowers and mechanics.

Short Course Training Manager, Lorraine Cornwell, said: "Thank you to Stihl for this generous loan. The equipment will offer our students an even wider range of learning experiences using the latest high quality equipment."
