Tell us about your course:
I love my current Level 3, Equine senior groom, apprenticeship which I am studying through Writtle!
This apprenticeship has been a once in a lifetime experience for me as I have been able to gain a wide variety of skills which will allow me to confidently work at industry standards within the equine industry.
What do you enjoy about your apprenticeship?
I have been able to gain loads of hands on experience, which for someone who hasn't been around horses since a very young age, is a great opportunity to learn and develop the essential skills required to confidently and knowledgably work with horses.
How has your apprenticeship helped prepare you for the work force?
I am most passionate and devoted to horses and this apprenticeship has helped me to learn and gather the skills required to confidently look after these animals to the best of my ability.
This course has been great for my self-confidence and character building, as it has allowed me to gain masses of confidence and has pushed me out of my comfort zone in order to achieve things which I never thought I'd be able to do.
My apprenticeship has helped shaped me into the person I am today, along with it has allowed me to figure out what career path I want to take in the future.
