It's time to get creative! Writtle University College's Design Degree Show will return on Thursday 11th May.
The annual event showcases the very best creative work from undergraduate and postgraduate students. Spot the next generation of artistic talent and view the latest advances in sustainable landscape design.
Promotional materials for the show will feature a stunning image (pictured above) from BA (Hons) Art and the Environment student Claire Jebbitt. Claire was the winner of this year's annual WUC Design Degree Show Student Art Competition. Special commendations went to Masaki Kono and Charlie Stafford who also received a high number of votes.
This year, the event will take a special twist. Following two years of virtual shows, in-person exhibitions will relaunch for 2022. Work will be displayed in the Design Centre and Turner Building on Writtle University College's beautiful countryside estate, just two miles from Chelmsford.
Senior lecturer Saruhan Mosler said: "We're delighted to be returning to in-person Design Degree Shows. Our beautiful campus is a fantastic venue and we'll be highlighting an exceptional range of innovative work. Our students display both dedication and talent and, as always, we look forward to welcoming local people and industry specialists."
The private, invitation-only viewing on the evening of Wednesday 11th May will host sector-leaders. The exhibition opens to the public from Thursday 12th May to Sunday 15th May.
