Dr Roberta Ferro De Godoy, a senior lecturer at Writtle University College, took part in the February 2022 Investigating Equestrian Research Seminar at Hartpury University. The international event featured a range of speakers from the UK and Australia.
Roberta was invited to participate by module leader Lorna Cameron. She spoke to Hartpury's MSc Equine Science students about the grant application process and aspects of ethics regulations surrounding the use of horses in research.
Roberta said: "It was a pleasure to share some of my research experience with these young researchers. The students will have to write a grant proposal as part of their assignment, therefore I have given them some top tips on how to write a good grant, including aspects of ethics regulations to the use of horses in research."
