On March 17th, lecturer Dr. Kami Baghalian welcomed Martin Brijs, Production Manager at Palmstead Nurseries, to Writtle University College (WUC).

Martin manages the production for a 120-acre commercial nursery, and is responsible for around 3000 different species. He is also a Board Member of The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).

Martin and Kami discussed possibilities for future collaboration before Martin delivered an inspiring guest lecture to WUC's BSc and MSc cohort in Horticulture and Agriculture.

Kami said: "We were delighted to welcome Martin to Writtle University College. Here at WUC we are committed to offering our students opportunities to learn not just crop production but other equally important aspects, such as ornamental crop production, as well."
