EquiRatings, the data science provider for equestrian sports, has rated Lordships Graffalo as 2021's top-ranked nine year old for eventing.
The gelding was born and bred at Writtle University College's Lordships Stud, and is now owned by Michele Saul and ridden by World Eventing Champion Ros Canter.
In 2021, Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo won the Land Rover Blair Castle International Horse Trials CCI4*-S. Ros told Horse & Hound: "He's the nicest horse I've ever ridden cross-country because he goes as fast as you want him to go and when you sit up he slows down in balance".
EquiRatings uses technology, data science and equestrian experience brings actionable insights to the equine world. Its data experts gave Lordships Graffalo an impressive rating of 690. Ros said: "It's great to see Lordships Graffalo at the top of Equiratings 'Top 9 year olds in the world' table for this year. He's such a star."
