Following a review in July 2020, Writtle University College (WUC) successfully met the quality standards required for membership of The Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS).

WUC's Careers Adviser Mark Yates said: "achieving the AGCAS standards is a great achievement. AGCAS aims to give a thorough appraisal of the careers work that happens within the University College. Our assessor acts as a 'critical friend' to review our provision and provided some really good suggestions on how we can move the service forwards, to help our students career planning and achievements."

WUC's career service received positive feedback, which praised Mark Yate's "high professional and personal standards". The peer reviewer also commented on WUC's growing capacity to offer careers events, employer engagement, a mentoring scheme and greater alumni engagement.
