Writtle University College will be hosting a selection of specialist veterinary nursing CPD events.

Our CPD lectures are suitable for members of the clinical team, particularly nursing staff, and are delivered by veterinary professionals. They give the opportunity to enhance and develop knowledge of key topic areas.

The team has decided to present more lectures and workshops specifically aimed at Clinical Coaches (CCs) in the form of OSCE practical sessions.

They aim to aid CCs with helping their students gain the best practical knowledge they can before they sit their final OSCE exams. They are also a useful tool for all to use in the future, regardless of whether or not CCs supervise students at this particular time.

All events start at 7.00pm with a buffet, followed by the lecture from 7.30-9.30, including time for questions.

The programme is as follows:

Date – 22nd May

Animal Forensics
Speaker: Dr Samantha Pickles – Forensic Access

Date – 26th June

OSCEs for Clinical Coaches – Lab and Radiography
Speakers: Sarah O’Meara/Vicki Salvage – WUC
