From a 3D self portrait to a bleach painting of horses, the Further Education art & design and photography students at Writtle University College are putting together a thought-provoking end of year exhibition of their work.
The exhibition is being held in the Design Studio 2 on Friday 16 June and Saturday 17 June and will include a range of media including fine art, graphic design, print work and textiles.
Students on the two-year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design and the one-year Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, as well as photography courses, are showcasing their work.
Art & Design Technician Berenice Ducker said: “This year the Further Education Art and Design exhibition will feature a diverse range of techniques, including mixed media, fine art, graphic design, print work, textiles and more.
“From a 3D self portrait to bleach paintings of horses, set design to film posters – there is sure to be something that catches your eye.
“Our talented students have been working hard to produce their final pieces, all of which will be on show for you to view.
“Students enjoy experimenting with different media and techniques on these courses and it gives them a range of options for future study. This year, we have students who hope to go onto designing sets for theatre and film, studying illustration at the University of Lincoln and studying Graphic Communication at University of Reading.”
• The exhibition is on Friday 16 June 4pm to 7pm and Saturday 17 June 10am to 2pm.
