Writtle University College has confirmed the date for its annual University Experience Day.
The event will take place on Wednesday 15th February and is aimed at students who are looking to start a university course in September 2017.
The day itself provides a fully interactive taster event, allowing students to experience exactly what it is like to study a degree course at Writtle University College. There will be workshops, tours and presentations throughout the day with plenty of opportunities to meet current and prospective students.
Visitors are allowed to bring a guest with them, these are typically a parent or guardian, who will have a separate schedule for the day and hear presentations from senior figures at Writtle University College along with the chance to ask those all important questions.
Katie Wetherall, External Engagement and Events Officer, said: “This is the third year we’ve run the event and each year it becomes more and more popular. The day works differently to our standard University Open Days and this event is all about getting hands-on and involved with the types of activities that they’ll experience whilst studying a degree with us at WUC.
“It is, of course, meant to be a fun event and we have had many students make friends with other guests who then end up studying together seven months later with us. So it’s a fantastic event to participate in.
“If you’re currently studying at college or sixth form and are seriously considering a university course with us in 2017 then book a place as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.”
All guests are provided with a complimentary lunch and refreshments.
