Writtle College will be hosting a number of monthly specialist veterinary nursing CDP events in 2016. They give the opportunity to enhance and develop knowledge of key topic areas.

Title: Anaesthetising the Exotic Patient

Speaker: William Lewis MRCVS

Description: Management of anaesthesia in commonly kept exotic species and how to minimise the risk of complications. Key areas included: drug protocols for anaesthesia and analgesia; intubation techniques/airway management; practical advice on GA monitoring techniques and useful monitoring equipment; considerations for recovery

Time: Commencing at 7.30pm with a buffet followed by the lecture from 8pm – 9pm with questions afterwards

Cost: £20 (including buffet and lecture notes)

Venue: TC31, Titchmarsh Centre
