Third year Agriculture students are working on a crop trial with Strutt and Parker Farms.

They are working on a field of cover crops near Dunmow. The first stage of the project involved taking soil samples. They will be evaluating the value and economic benefit of using these crops within an arable rotation.

The work is part of their module Linking Science and Management taught by Senior Lecturers Clive Beale and Henry Matthews.
