Writtle College will be hosting the next of its monthly specialist veterinary nursing CDP events. These events are aimed solely at members of veterinary teams in practices, particularly nursing staff and are all delivered by veterinary professionals. They give the opportunity to enhance and develop knowledge of key topic areas.
The events schedule will be as follows:
Wednesday 4th June: Anaesthesia: effective anaesthesia monitoring, recognising complications and dealing with emergencies – Sam McMillan VTS (Anaesthesia) DipAVN (Medical)
Wednesday 9th July: Lungworm: what do we need to know? – Joanna Wyatt RVN, Bayer Southern Practice Support Adviser
Wednesday 6th August: ‘My cat is spraying’: and other feline behaviour issues – Vicky Halls RVN Acclaimed Cat Behaviour Counsellor
Wednesday 3rd September: ‘Feeling your patient’s pain’: care and management of pain in small animals – Sarah Flanagan BVetMed MRCVS
Wednesday 1st October: Bereavement: helping clients cope with the loss of a pet – Belinda Johnston MA VetMB MRCVS
All events cost £15 and start at 7.30pm with a buffet followed by the lecture from 8.00pm-9.30pm.
