Varian Maude
BSc (Hons) Agriculture (Arable Crop Management)
"The lecturers are a great bunch of people. They're really helpful, really inspiring and also come from all walks of the agriculture industry, which is really nice. You have people from practical farms who understand the day-to-day management of running a farm and the business side but you also have scientists who understand the agronomy side, so you get that real mix"

Emily Keeble
BSc (Hons) Agriculture (Arable Crop Management)
"My highlights from Writtle include having the opportunity to work on two local dairy farms, one milking 500 head of cattle, which I would have only dreamed off before.
WUC has been most supportive to me throughout my whole degree, as at high school I was diagnosed with dyslexia and thought getting a BSc Hons degree would be near enough impossible."

Oliver Martin
BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management (Crop Production)
"Writtle is fortunate to be located within short distance of numerous interesting and often innovative agricultural businesses - both farms and supply chain businesses. My course involved many trips to visit such businesses which in-turn offered the opportunity for practical learning and networking with industry professionals. These visits also allowed for theory learnt in the classroom to become a tangible reality. Similarly, the university college's own estate provided opportunity for field walks and crop inspections at one's own leisure, which further supported my understanding, particularly with regard to crop agronomy."
