SketchUp - An introduction

About the Course

This 5 hour short course will introduce you to 3D modelling software, SketchUp; as an aid to design presentations.

Participants will learn how to draw, extrude and manipulate shapes to create a scale model of a garden or an interior. This will include adding surface colours and shadows to a design.

Progression through the course will include how to generate a more complex model as well as how to download objects into the space. Participants will begin to create a garden or interior of their own or maybe work on an existing project.

Individual feedback from your tutor will help to move your design towards a finished outcome, in readiness for a final presentation and 3D Fly-through. This will include tips on various ways of sharing the design with future clients.
