About the Course

This two day integrated training and assessment programme covers safe use and maintenance of a Powered Pole Pruner. Topics covered include risk assessments, legislation, personal protective equipment, pre-use checks, routine checks and maintenance, preparation of site, machine and materials.

Entry Requirements

We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start the course without the correct equipment. They may prefer for their comfort and safety, to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment. We strongly recommend candidates also wear a high visibility vest.

Participants are required to bring their own machine.

Useful Information

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Tea and coffee making facilities are available, please bring a packed lunch and any other refreshments.
