Foundation Module
This one day module is necessary for anyone involved with pesticide use and is a pre-requisite to the application modules. Topics covered include legislation, pesticide preparation, record keeping and environmental safety. Calculations and interpreting information is an integral part of the training.
The one day training will be followed by an NPTC on-line multiple choice test (33 questions).

Entry Requirements
Candidates must have a good standard of written English to be able to read, understand and interpret regulations and information on pesticide labels. This is all in compliance with regulations and directives from the Health & Safety Executive.
Reading assistance is not available for candidate's with literacy difficulties.
