About the Course

Foundation Module

This one day module is necessary for anyone involved with pesticide use and should be completed prior to any other pesticide module. Topics covered include legislation, pesticide preparation, record keeping and environmental safety. Calculations and interpreting information is an integral part of the training.

The one day training will be followed by an NPTC on-line multiple choice test (33 questions) - to be arranged.

Now please book your application method PA2A Ground Crop Sprayer, PA4S Slug Pellet Applicator or PA6A Hand Held Applicator.

Entry Requirements

Participants must have a good standard of written English to be able to read, understand and interpret regulations and information on pesticide labels. This is all in compliance with regulations and directives from the Health & Safety Executive.

Reading assistance is not permitted if a candidate's literacy difficulties are primarily caused by English not being their first language.

Useful Information

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Please bring a packed lunch and all refreshments needed for the day.
