This Ofqual regulated qualification is an excellent balance of theoretical and practical learning to ensure candidates have the knowledge required should they ever be faced with an emergency first aid situation. Candidates will be assessed through the completion of a workbook and demonstrating practical skills eg, CPR and bandaging. This must all be passed in order to achieve the qualification.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must be over 16
In order to achieve this qualification candidates are required to undertake approximately 3 hours of home study (read the qualification overview, handook and workbook which will be emailed with course joining instructions) before attending the one day course here at Writtle University College. Additionally they must consent to photographic evidence being submitted; information will be provided with the course joining instructions.
