The NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft (Textiles) qualification offers an intermediate level introduction to the knowledge and skills required for the creation of textile crafts.

Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course although some experience of art, textiles or crafts will be useful.
Learners will need good literacy and numeracy skills, i.e. the ability to read and interpret written tasks, to write answers and complete documents in a legible and understandable form and to make calculations.
Work Placements
The programme does not require a work placement to be undertaken.
Method of Assessment
You will complete 3 units of work. A portfolio of evidence will be internally assessed and externally moderated.
After Completion of Your Course...
This qualification provides you with the underpinning creative and practical skills required to progress on to a further course of study at level 3 and develop a portfolio of design and craft work.
Equipment and Materials
What equipment or materials will I need to provide?
Tutor will advise at enrolment. There will be a cost involved in providing some materials for this course such as fabrics and a sketchbook. Approximate cost: £30
