Introduction to Floristry - Award in Creative Craft

The Award in Creative Craft (Entry 3) offers an entry level introduction to the knowledge and skills required for the design and creation of floral arrangements.

This qualification is an ideal starting point for those who have no past floristry experience.

This qualification consists of the following one mandatory unit:

• Making an art or craft (floral) product
  This unit introduces learners to craft materials and enables learners to create an art or craft (floral) product whilst working safely.

This qualification aims to:

• Provide opportunities to acquire basic practical skills in creative craft (floristry)

The objectives of this qualification are to:

• Introduce learners to craft and design materials
• Allow learners to combine materials to create an art or craft (floral) item whilst working safely and using appropriate personal protective equipment

There are no specific prior learning requirements for this qualification.

Upon successful completion learners can progress to a higher qualification such as the Level 1 Award in Creative Craft (Floristry).
