Events and Initiatives

We host a number of events throughout the academic year which are designed to advise, inspire and inform students, teachers & advisors, parents and guardians about our courses and career pathways. The events we run are completely free and we endeavour to attend all invitations to events where possible.

School-based Career Evenings and Industry Days

We offer bespoke taster days for students, from year seven right up to sixth form and college level, who are interested in discovering more about our Higher Education opportunities and to experience life as a WUC student. We are happy to create taster days that will suit the needs of your students using our diverse menu of academic taster sessions and higher education skills workshops. Over the course of the day students will get the opportunity to speak to our dedicated staff, meet our current students and tour our beautiful campus grounds.

Taster Days & Campus visits

We welcome requests from schools and colleges to attend events to speak to students and parents about life at Writtle University College, our courses and careers. We endeavour to attend all school and college career conventions and industry days, and are happy to take part in information advice and guidance talks and mock interviews as well as in-school taster activities.
