Who should attend?

This course is for small businesses, self-employed individuals and property owners with larger gardens. If you require a more in depth knowledge on specific equipment you may wish to consider a more advanced servicing and repair course.

Entry requirements

We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe capped boots or shoes, gloves and suitable protective clothing which provides full cover for arms and legs. We strongly recommend also wearing a high visibility vest.

You must bring your own Personal Protective Equipment, but if this presents a problem we can provide:

  • Eye protection, safety glasses or goggles to EN16:1995
  • Face shield or visor
  • Ear defenders
  • Gloves - adequate to protect hands against flying debris
