BHS Silver Challenge Award - Lunge

This 3 hour integrated training and assessment programme is designed for individuals who require basic knowledge of the correct lunging method, enabling them to prepare and lunge a horse for exercise. Lunging can change and expand your horses exercise routine and is a great way to strengthen your bond.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate on completion of the course.

Minimum age 14 (Parental consent required).

Please come appropriately dressed for an equine yard with an approved riding hat, gloves and boots.

By making a booking you are declaring yourself medically fit to participate in the course.

Successful completion of both the BHS Silver Challenge Award - Lunge and the Silver Challenge Award - Care provides direct entry to the BHS Stage 2 Care and Lunge. A full and detailed syllabus may be obtained from the British Horse Society website.

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Tea and coffee making facilities are available, please bring any other refreshments.
