The next step
After completing your studies at Writtle, your journey with us doesn't have to end there. There are a number of options for you to keep in touch and further enhance your career prospects.
We encourage all students to keep in touch with the College through our supportive careers department, as well as through social networking and graduate profiles.
Careers support
As a graduate of the College, you are very welcome to use the Careers Advice Service for the next three years to help plan, review and develop your career. This could cover how to develop your career, further study, help with your CV, job hunting or career management skills.
If you have not yet got a definite start with a company, further qualification or started working for yourself, how about arranging for some careers support now that you have graduated? You can contact our expert Careers Adviser by emailing careers@writtle.ac.uk or calling 01245 424257.
There is also an online vacancy board which advertises jobs applicable to your area of study.
Don't forget that the Destinations of Higher Education Leavers Survey (DHLE) takes place in a January. This is a very good way to highlight what Writtle University College students progress onto once they have left and it will recognise the effort you all have put into your studies, and the range of opportunities there are for Writtle graduates.
Postgraduate study
After completing your degree-level course there is the option to continue with your studies at Writtle. We are able to offer students a progression scholarship if they decide to stay on at Writtle to complete a postgraduate course with us.
Visit our postgraduate page for information on the specialist postgraduate courses Writtle has to offer.
Visit our Scholarships and Bursaries page for information on our postgraduate scholarships available.
Social Media
Make sure you follow the College across its social media platforms and stay up-to-date with what's happening. We encourage all students to join professional networks such as LinkedIn which contains an alumni network, as well as following the Writtle University College company page.
Graduate Profiles
We are always keen to hear how our graduates are getting on within industry and are continuously looking to expand our growing library of graduate profiles. These profiles feature across the College's marketing such as prospectuses and the website, such as our graduate profiles section here: Student Spotlight
