About the Course
This one day integrated training and assessment programme is aimed at farmers, managers, fitters, foremen and workers who are required to use bench-mounted, hand-held electrical and engine driven abrasive wheels or supervise their use. The course is designed to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1999 and Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1998.
Entry Requirements
We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe capped boots or shoes, gloves and suitable protective clothing which provides full cover for arms and legs. We strongly recommend also wearing a high visibility vest.
We have limited equipment and PPE therefore candidates are advised to bring their own eye protection, portable angle grinder and discs.
