There is a constant demand within Industry for competent engineers. If you are looking for a practical engineering career then an apprenticeship in Land-Based Service Engineering - Level 3 Apprenticeship will offer you a wide range of opportunities and prospects. This apprenticeship, delivered by Writtle University College (WUC), offers you a unique opportunity as a national scheme working exclusively with Case and New Holland (CNH). This means that not only do you get the excellent training and support from WUC; you also get access to the resources of CNH's National Training Centre at Basildon.
As an apprentice on the Land-Based Service Engineering programme you will learn how to diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, power transmission, vehicle electrics, welding and many other topics. You will cover the theory and practical aspects and have the opportunity to work on CNH's latest products.
Successful land-based service engineering apprentices gain a wide range of skills and knowledge. The result of this experience is that they often go on to develop successful careers in management, sales, product development and research. Engineers will be crucial in helping the land-based sector deal with the climate and production challenges we face in the future. This apprenticeship will provide the best possible start to becoming involved in these future challenges and prepare for a long-term and rewarding career.
