Marshal Papworth Scholarship

The Marshal Papworth Scholarships are designed to support postgraduate students from developing countries studying land based courses such as Horticulture, Conservation and Agriculture; they are made possible by the generosity of the late Marshal Papworth, an English farmer and member of the East of England Agricultural Society.

A list of qualifying countries can be found at www.marshalpapworth.com International students from developing countries who have been offered admission to a taught Masters course at Writtle University College may apply for a Marshal Papworth Scholarship.

Students must hold an unconditional offer from the College. This is a prerequisite for the scholarship application. The closing date for applications is early spring, so students are encouraged to make their applications for the Masters course in autumn/winter.

Applications for Marshal Papworth Scholarships are not made directly to the trust, but via the University College Postgraduate Coordinator (Dr Anya Perera).
