The Geoff Hamilton New Gardeners' Foundation supports horticultural students at Writtle University College with bursaries up to the value of 5,000. Whilst the conditions of the bursary are wide ranging, they relate purely to the needs of the student(s) themselves. The bursaries could support the students' costs of living whilst studying a course in horticulture at Writtle University College. The value of the bursary could also assist with costs incurred whilst in a placement in the industry. Geoff's family and Writtle University College are keen to offer this fantastic opportunity for students of Horticulture - any age and level of practical horticulture will be acknowledged. The bursary may be shared according to the number and standard of applications. In 2015 the 5,000 bursary was shared between three recipients. The Trustees are looking for enthusiasm, motivation and dedication to the world of horticulture. For application forms or for further information, please contact Sandra Nicholson, School of Sustainable Environments and Design, Writtle University College.
