In addition to Government-funded support, the University College also provides its own bursaries for students from lower income backgrounds who meet the high standards for admission onto our courses. The following students will not be eligible: EU nationals and international students.
  • New undergraduate students on household incomes under 25,000 and in receipt of the full state maintenance loan will receive a bursary of 750.
  • New undergraduate students on household incomes between 25,000 and 30,000 will receive a bursary of 300.
  • New undergraduate students on household incomes between 30,000 and 40,000 will receive a bursary of 200.

Students eligible for the Writtle University College Bursary will receive 50% of the award in February and the remaining 50% in May, paid directly into your bank account. New part time students may also be eligible to a pro rata amount of this bursary. For more details, please contact Student Finance.
