You will find a warm welcome waiting for you at Writtle University College. We have a number of South Korean students who study with us each year on our design courses, such as Floristry and Floral Design, Garden Design and Landscape Architecture. We are happy to accept enquiries for all of our courses and are here to help you through the application process.
We are represented by agents in Seoul and have alumni you can speak to. We visit South Korea twice a year, in March and October. If you would like to arrange a meeting with an academic or the International Marketing Officer when they visit, please get in contact with us.
For Undergraduate StudyHigh School Diploma holders can gain entry to a foundation programme whilst students with a Junior College Diploma can gain entry to a Bachelor degree.
For Postgraduate StudyStudents with a good Bachelors Degree, awarded by a high ranking institution can gain entry to a postgraduate taught course, whilst a Masters Degree can gain entry to a PhD programme.
English Language RequirementYou must be able to demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the English Language. You can check the IELTS score you require for your course level here. If you need to improve your English skills, you can apply for a place on our summer Pre-sessional English Language courses, where you can learn English for academic purposes, English culture and history, and have the opportunity to visit famous English landmarks in cities such as London and Cambridge.
You can also take part in our free In-sessional English Language classes during your course to improve your English skills whilst you study.
2017/18 Tuition FeesBachelor degrees, Foundation degrees and Higher Certificates: £11,700 per year
Postgraduate taught and research degrees: £12,400
ScholarshipsYou can apply for an Undergraduate International Scholarship of £1,000 yearly award for the standard length of course (three years). The total amount awarded is therefore £3,000, taken off the last payment of your tuition fees each year.
If studying a Master's degree, you can apply for a Postgraduate International Scholarship of £1,000 for the standard length of the course (one year). The total amount awarded is therefore £1,000.
